The Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office mourns the passing of Retired Lieutenant Kenny Dunham, a respected law enforcement officer and devoted public servant whose life was defined by service to others. Lieutenant Dunham’s career began in 1982 and spanned 30 years of honorable service, during which he faithfully protected and served the citizens of Lenoir County with distinction, humility, and unwavering integrity.

His service extended beyond law enforcement through his commitment as a volunteer firefighter with the Southwood Fire Department. On behalf of the Lenoir County Sheriff’s Office, we extend our deepest sympathy, thoughts, and prayers to his family, friends, and loved ones during this difficult time.”
