On December 15, 2025, our beloved Jordan Gray was tragically taken from us in his home in Motherwell’s Muirhouse area. At just 27, Jordan had only recently welcomed his beautiful baby boy into the world — a little one who is his absolute image and who will now grow up without the loving dad who adored him.
Jordan was discovered by his heartbroken family, who rushed to his side after noticing something was wrong. His cousin Samuel spoke of the devastating moment, describing how Jordan appeared peaceful under a cover, only for the truth to reveal the unimaginable horror of a shotgun wound.
Words cannot express the shock and grief rippling through his family, friends, and community. Jordan was a devoted father, a loyal friend, and someone whose smile and spirit touched so many lives. He had his whole future ahead — watching his son grow, building memories, and sharing his love.
To his partner Claire, his precious newborn son, his mum, cousins like Samuel, and all who knew him: our hearts ache with you. Jordan’s light was bright but brief, and he will live on forever in the little boy who carries his legacy and in the memories of everyone fortunate enough to have known him.
